Thanks very much for the alert about 19:30z on RMVHF reflector as to CT1HZE being 569 at your place in DN70. I caught your email just a few minutes after you posted it and hustled to turn on the radio. Sure enough, CT1HZE was coming thru nicely about 559 here. Got him with one call and rec'd a 539 for my 100w and 7 el for a new one. Interesting that he was cqing for W6s at times so he must have had an opening even further west. - I didn't hear any others from EU.
Like Phil, N0KE, I could use an EA in Spain on 6m. It is fascinating that we are still getting EU openings on 6m here in August and K0FX's (DM79) 9 JAs last week in late July with his IC706 100w and 4 el on CW. (Yes, congrats to you, Jay, for working 45 JAs last week with your 4-bay setup during that opening). I don't remember this happening before on 6m in late July and early August.
